Acne vulgaris is a severe form of acne that spreads approximately all over the face, especially the cheeks and chin area. For treating these kinds of severe acne, there is no hard and fast method. A range of treatments are combined to have acne vulgaris treated.

With all these medications though, there is an element of depression and mood swings to be found among patients. This is a risk that patients must be aware of if they agree to use these medications.

The last mode for acne vulagris medicine could be that of surgical operation or laser treatment. The acne is treated by red or blue laser light and this not only helps take off the acne but it also keeps at bay for a long time to come. With all this treatment, your diet is also one area that needs to be worked on. Do not eat anything that is hot, spicy or even oily. Instead eat as much fresh vegetables and fruits as you can. You can even try home remedies for the acne which would play a helping role in eliminating the acne. But do this only after consulting your doctor. Avoid taking over the counter medications as they would do less to help, but would do a lot more to cause harm.
